What carpet cleaning actually looks like, done right.
Every residential scope at Pure Light™ falls into one of three categories.

Inspect
We look at the carpet and the fibers before any product touches them. Different carpets need different methods, and the right call is made at the door, not in a quote form.

Clean
We clean to sanitize, not just to freshen. The method is matched to the carpet so the result holds, not just the smell.

Verify
We walk the carpet with you when we're done. If something isn't right, you point at it and we handle it on the spot.
If our first method doesn't solve it, we adjust methods until the expected result is achieved, within the realistic boundaries of the surface.
The standard that shows up.
Licensed and fully insured · Multi-method approach · 15+ years in San Diego
Premium homes, from the coast to the canyons.
From the family rooms of San Diego and beyond, the same standard wraps every carpet in your home.
Coastal homes
La Jolla, Del Mar, Carlsbad. Sea-air carpets that need a careful hand.
North county estates
Rancho Santa Fe, Poway. High-traffic family rooms and formal living spaces.
Multi-story residences
Equipment that runs from the truck, so your second floor isn't a job site.
Custom and historic homes
Materials and methods chosen for the carpet you actually have.
A clean carpet is the start.
Protect what you just cleaned. Clean the surfaces around it. Same standard, every time.

Upholstery Cleaning & Protection
Couches, dining cushions, leather, mattresses. Many fabrics most cleaners won't touch.

Area Rug Cleaning & Protection
Premium rugs cleaned the way the rug deserves, not the way the carpet was.
The protection upgrade.
The benefit
A fiber protector applied at the end of cleaning creates a barrier that gives you time. Spills bead instead of soak. Everyday soil sits on top of the fiber instead of grinding into it. The rug stays cleaner between professional cleans, and the next clean starts from a better place.
Honest scope: A protector is not a shield against every possible accident, and it does wear over time and with use. It is a smart addition, not a substitute for care.
A fabric protector spray, applied right after cleaning, helps the next spill bead instead of soak, and stretches the time between deep cleans. Optional on every upholstery job, recommended on the pieces most likely to need it.
What it does:
Makes the next spill easier to blot before it sets in.
Slows down the wear-and-tear that dulls a fabric between cleanings.
Extends the look-and-feel result of the cleaning we just finished.
When it makes sense:
Light-color carpets, high-traffic family rooms, and outdoor pieces.
Do I have to do this?
No. It is optional. We recommend it for carpets in high-traffic rooms and homes with pets or young children.
Does it change how the carpet feels?
How long does it last?

“From the very beginning, they were always clear and concise. They send you a text the morning of, showing you a picture of who's coming and what time they're coming. It's good to know the picture of the person that's coming in the door.”

What if I don't like the result?
You won't be stuck with it. If our first method doesn't solve it, we adjust methods until the expected result is achieved, within the realistic boundaries of the surface. Some deeply set damage cannot be fully reversed, and we'll tell you that at the inspection, not after the bill.
