Is your granite repairable?

Usually repairable
Hairline crack or surface fracture
A shallow crack in the polished layer. We fill it, match the color, and refinish so the line disappears.

Often repairable
Through-slab crack near a sink or cooktop
A crack that runs through the slab at a sink cutout, usually where water has passed through failing caulk and rusted the reinforcing rod under thin stone. We bond the piece structurally, fill the seam, and match the finish.

Replacement recommended
Major break across a load-bearing section
A slab that has separated or lost structural integrity. We will tell you honestly if replacement is the better call, and point you to a fabricator we trust.
How we repair a cracked granite countertop.
Step 1
On-site assessment.
A technician arrives in a Mercedes Sprinter, walks the counter with you, and gives you an honest read on what is possible.
Step 2
Color match and fill.
We match the fill to the exact color, veining, and finish of your slab. The line stops being a line.
Step 3
Structural bond and reinforce.
For through-slab cracks, we bond the piece and reinforce the seam so the counter holds up to daily use.
Step 4
Polish and seal.
We refinish the surface to match the original sheen, and seal the repair so it stays protected.

A color match you can't see.

"He didn't just put sealant over it. He went and made the color match. You can't see it anymore. It's that kind of quality that makes you feel good about the investment in your home."

Cracked granite countertop FAQs.
Can you really repair a crack, or will I always see it?
Most cracks we repair disappear to the eye. We match the fill to the color, veining, and finish of your slab, then refinish the surface. Where the crack was is where the crack was, and the finish stays put.

What does it cost?
