If your marble looks like this, we can fix it.

Marble restoration in San Diego usually starts with one of these six things.

Etch rings on a residential marble countertop.

Etch rings.

A dull ring where wine, citrus, or vinegar landed. It is an etch, not a stain, and it is surface damage we can remove.

Scratches on a residential marble floor.

Scratches and scuffs.

Marks from pans, keys, grit under a chair leg.

Dull residential marble floor with loss of shine.

Loss of shine.

The surface has gone flat over the years, usually first around the sink and the cooktop.

Pitted residential marble surface before restoration.

Pits and holes.

Small voids in the stone that catch grime. We fill them.

Discolored residential marble countertop requiring restoration.

Yellowing or discoloration.

An aging surface, an old sealer, or trapped moisture.

Cracked and chipped residential marble surface.

Cracks and chips.

At an edge, a seam, or a corner.

Restore, surpass, or change the factory finish.

Polishing is not one step, and it is not the only outcome available to you.

Technician restoring a residential marble countertop to its original finish.

Restore.

Bring the stone back to the finish it had the day it was installed.

Polishing a residential marble countertop to a higher-gloss finish.

Surpass.

Take it past the factory finish, measurably.

Residential marble surface refinished with a new matte finish.

Change.

Polished to honed, matte to polished, or something in between, where the stone supports it.

Measured, not guessed.

We can read a factory-finished piece of Carrara marble with a gloss meter and polish it to a higher finish than out of the box.

Every marble surface, every kind of damage.

Marble sits in the Restore tier of Clean, Maintain, Restore, our operating framework for every surface we touch.

Marble restoration questions, answered.

How much does marble restoration cost?

Marble pricing depends on the damage, the finish, and the stone, so the number is written after we see the surface. What we can tell you is that restoring marble is consistently a fraction of the cost of replacing it, and it happens without demolition, haul-away, fabrication, or a kitchen you cannot use for a week. The in-home estimate is free.

Can etches actually be removed, or do you just polish over them?

How long does a marble job take?

Do you fill pits and cracks, or just polish?

What if the first method does not solve the damage?

Do you also work on commercial marble?

Let's look at your marble.

We come to you, identify the stone, diagnose the damage, and tell you honestly what can and cannot be done with it. No charge, and no pressure to book on the spot.
