Two jobs. One team.

We handle both, and we help you choose the right one during a free on-site walkthrough.

Polish and Restore

  • Grind, hone, and polish existing concrete

  • Repair scratches, staining, and finish loss

  • Restore, surpass, or change the factory finish

When you'd choose this: Your floor is worn or dull but structurally sound.

Resurface

  • Repair spalling, pitting, and surface breakdown

  • Level, patch, and rebuild the working surface

  • Prep the slab for polish, coating, or both

When you'd choose this: The floor is failing, not just aging.

The Pure Light Standard™, applied to your concrete floor.

The five parts of every job we run, whether the surface is a marble countertop or a warehouse floor.

Where we polish and restore concrete across San Diego.

The floor is part of the experience. We treat it that way, whether it's the entry of a hotel lobby or the working surface of a warehouse.

Showrooms and Retail.

Concrete that reads as a designed floor, not a build-out leftover. Auto galleries, boutique retail, gallery spaces.

Restaurants and Bars.

Front-of-house concrete that catches the light and holds up to service traffic, spills, and daily deep cleans.

Hotels and Hospitality Lobbies.

Lobby, corridor, and back-of-house concrete finished to a hospitality standard.

Warehouses and Industrial.

Working floors that stay clean, safe, and legible under forklifts, foot traffic, and daily wash-down.

Pre-Opening New Construction.

New concrete polished, sealed, and slip-tested before opening day.

Class A Office and Corporate Interiors.

Lobbies, common areas, and open-plan floors that read as finished space on the first walkthrough.

How the restore actually happens.

Five steps. No mystery about any of them.

Step 1

Assess.

We walk the floor with you, read the slab, and scope the job in writing. If a polish is enough, we say so. If a resurface is the honest answer, we say that too.

Step 2

Grind.

Diamond tooling removes the top layer of the slab, opening the concrete to accept the finish. This is where scratches, stains, and old coatings come out.

Step 3

Hone.

Progressively finer grits refine the surface. This is what turns a working slab into a floor that reads finished under natural light.

Step 4

Polish.

We polish to the finish level the space calls for, matte, satin, or high-gloss, and we can convert a floor between finishes if the room needs a different look than it currently has.

Step 5

Seal.

A polished concrete floor without a coating is a finish waiting to fail. We seal with RexPro, which locks the finish in for up to ten years of commercial traffic.

Seal it with RexPro.

Up to ten years of protection.

Up to ten years of protection.

The polish is only half the job. The seal is what makes it last. RexPro bonds with the surface instead of sitting on top of it, and locks the finish in for up to ten years of the traffic, spills, and chemical exposure a commercial concrete floor actually sees. For floors that need traction, a non-slip coating treatment is available and can be specified on the same job.

Polished doesn't always mean safe. That's what testing is for.

A polished concrete floor can look premium and still fail a slip test. We use the BOT-3000E robotic tester to verify slip safety against ANSI A326.3 and can add a RexPro non-slip coating treatment if a floor doesn't pass.

Honest, trustworthy, willing to get the job done, and willing to do what you're asking them to do, which is very rare nowadays.

Eric Williams, Girl Scouts of San Diego

Pure Light consistently met both the scope and the spirit of the contract. Very conscientious business relationship.

The questions your GC, your engineer, or your ops lead will ask.

We've already answered them.

How long will the floor be out of service?

Active work time depends on square footage and finish level. Sealing adds cure time, which we schedule around your operations. We walk the timeline with you before the job starts, and we don't leave a floor unusable overnight without telling you first.

Can you work off-hours or overnight so we don't shut down operations?

What's the difference between polishing and applying a coating?

Do you guarantee the finish?

We're not sure if this floor is restorable. Can you tell us?

The floor is ready when you are.

A walkthrough is a site visit, not a form submission. We come out, scope the floor, and give you a clean one-page proposal.
