A lifetime warranty on your stone.
COUNTERTOPS
As of October 2025, MORE™ AntiEtch™ stone coating carries a lifetime warranty against stains and etches. Jobs completed before October 2025 carry the original 10-year warranty. The warranty is the manufacturer's, and Pure Light Cleaning™ passes it directly to you.
Lifetime warranty:
stone AntiEtch™ jobs completed October 2025 and later.

If the coating fails on an approved surface, we come back and re-treat.
Any finish you want, for life.
MORE™ AntiEtch™ is available in polished, satin, and honed.
MORE™ AntiEtch™ Finish
It can match the finish already on the stone, or change it: a polished counter can go to a flat matte, and a matte counter can go to a polished finish.
That range is one of the reasons people choose it. The other is the lifetime warranty. The coating is designed to stop marble from etching and staining, permanently.
MORE™ AntiEtch™ is for marble, travertine, limestone, and onyx countertops. It is not a sealer. It is not for floors, and it is not for granite.
You didn't do anything wrong. Marble did.
Even a small wine spill can etch and stain natural stone. A slice of lemon rolls off the cutting board and dulls the polish where it landed. Coffee spills, and the spot never quite comes back.
That mark is not a stain. It is not a cleaning issue. It is acid etching caused by acidic substances reacting with the calcium in the stone, leaving damage that requires professional restoration.
It happens to every polished marble owner. Marble, travertine, and limestone are calcium-based stones, and everyday foods and drinks are acidic enough to react with them. That reaction is called etching. It is a property of the stone, not a failure of the owner.
A sealer and a coating are two different products.
Most polished marble was sealed at install. The installer likely said the sealer would "protect" the stone. It does, in a limited way. It does not stop etching. Here is why.
Penetrating sealer
Soaks into the stone.
Repels water and slows staining.
Does not block acid.
Wears down over time with normal cleaning.
Standard at install. Useful, but limited.
MORE™ AntiEtch™ Coating
Sits on top of the stone as a bonded layer.
Blocks acid before it reaches the marble.
Prevents etching, not just staining.
Certified application. Invisible finish.
The only category of product designed to stop etching.
If your marble is etching after a sealer was applied, the sealer is not failing. It was never designed to do that job.

Where More™ AntiEtch™ Belongs:
The surfaces it protects best.

Kitchen counters and islands.
The surfaces that meet wine, citrus, coffee, olive oil, and tomato every day. AntiEtch™ keeps polished marble looking the way it did the day it was installed.

Bath vanities and shower ledges.
Hard water minerals, acidic hair products, and perfume can cloud polished marble over time. AntiEtch™ protects the surfaces you use every morning.

New-install pre-treatment.
The best time to coat marble is before the first spill lands. If your stone was just installed, AntiEtch™ protects it from day one.
MORE™ AntiEtch™ is designed for calcium-based stone countertops: marble, travertine, limestone, and onyx. For granite, quartzite, or engineered stone, see our Sealing hub or our stone restoration pages for the right protection path.
How We Apply It: The Pure Light Standard™, from arrival to warranty.
Step 1
Free in-home assessment.
A certified technician arrives in a Mercedes Sprinter, in uniform, at the time we scheduled. We identify the stone, review the surfaces you want coated, and walk you through what we recommend before any work is scheduled.
Step 2
SURFACE PREPARATION.
MORE™ AntiEtch™ is installed on a properly prepared surface. If your marble has visible etching or scratches, we prepare the surface first to remove those imperfections before applying AntiEtch™
Step 3
Certified application.
A Pure Light Cleaning™ technician trained under the MORE™ AntiEtch™ certification program installs the coating. Pure Light Cleaning™ is 1 of only 2 certified applicators in San Diego County.
Step 4
Set and walkthrough.
Before we leave, your technician confirms the coating is set and walks you through how to live with it: what to use, what to avoid, and what to expect over the years.
Step 5
Lifetime coverage.
For jobs completed October 2025 and later, the warranty travels with the coating. If it fails on an approved surface, we come back and re-treat.
Care + Living With AntiEtch™:
Use your marble like marble again.
The point of AntiEtch™ is that daily life on the marble becomes ordinary again. No hovering when someone pours a glass of red. No panic when a lemon rolls off the cutting board.
Do
Use the surface as you normally would.
Wipe up liquids when it's convenient.
Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner as needed.
Book a check-in every few years for heavily used prep zones.
Avoid
Placing hot pots or pans directly on the surface.
Abrasive scrubbing pads that could damage the finish.
Dragging heavy cookware across the coating.
Avoid relying on the coating without periodic checks in heavily used prep areas.
The questions homeowners ask before they book.
Will I see the coating on my marble?
No. When correctly applied, MORE™ AntiEtch™ is invisible. Polished stays polished. Honed stays honed.
How is this different from the sealer my installer used?
Does it change the finish?
Does it work on granite, quartz, or quartzite?
