Commercial stone floor protected with MORE™ AntiEtch™ in a modern office lobby.

What if the etch never happened?

The coating that stops acid, hard water, and daily use from marking your stone in the first place.

Etches make clean stone look neglected. Cleaning will not remove them, because an etch is damage to the stone itself, not soil on the surface.

MORE AntiEtch helps stop that damage before it starts. Pure Light Cleaning is one of only two MORE AntiEtch Certified Applicators in San Diego County, certified applicators.

We walk the property, identify the stone on site, and put the scope in writing.

What an etch actually costs you.

An etch starts as a dull ring where a glass sat, a cloudy patch by the soap dispenser, a run of hard water marks below a faucet. Nothing stops working. Nobody files a ticket. It just accumulates.

The honest sequence is this. Cleaning will not reverse it. Restoration can, and when an etch is removable we remove it. Restoration is real craft work, priced per square foot and scheduled around your operation. Replacement is the expensive end, and the invoice is only part of it: demolition, haul away, new slab, fabrication, edge polishing, seaming, installation, and a space that cannot be used while all of that happens.

A sealer is not a coating.

Most commercial stone has been sealed at some point, and the assumption is that sealed means protected. Two things are worth separating.

A penetrating sealer lives beneath the surface.

It soaks in, it is invisible, and it slows staining. It also wears, faster when harsh over the counter chemicals are part of the nightly routine.

A coating lives on top of the surface.

It is a true top coat, often called a topical sealer. MORE™ AntiEtch™ belongs in this category, and it is built for the specific job of standing between acid and stone.

What makes the difference in a commercial building is not only the product. It is whether the surface was prepared and the product installed the way the manufacturer specifies, every time, on every surface. That is The Pure Light Standard™: the same preparation, the same application, the same walkthrough, documented at the end.

How the coating actually goes on.

Step 1

Assess.

We walk the property and identify the stone on site. If nobody is sure what the surface is, we use professional Stone ID kits during the free estimate.

Step 2

Restore first, if the surface needs it.

Coating does not hide damage. Where etches or dullness are already present, restoration is scoped and completed first, so the coating goes onto a finished surface.

Step 3

Prepare to specification.

The surface is cleaned and prepared the way the manufacturer requires. This is the step generalists skip, and it is the step that decides whether a coating lasts.

Step 4

Apply as a Certified Applicator.

MORE™ AntiEtch™ is a manufacturer system, not a Pure Light™ invention. Certification is what allows it to be installed correctly, and Pure Light™ is one of only two certified applicators in San Diego County.

Step 5

Walk it and document it.

A post job walkthrough with your team, then a written job summary of what was coated.

Warranty

Jobs completed October 2025 and later carry a factory lifetime warranty against stains and etches. Work completed before October 2025 carries the earlier ten year warranty.

Any finish can be achieved, whether factory or not.

MORE™ AntiEtch™ is available in polished, satin, and honed.

MORE™ AntiEtch™ Finish

It can match the finish already on the stone, or change it: a polished counter can go to a flat matte, and a matte counter can go to a polished finish.

That range is one of the reasons people choose it. The other is the lifetime warranty. The coating is designed to stop marble from etching and staining, permanently.

MORE™ AntiEtch™ is for marble, travertine, limestone, and onyx countertops. It is not a sealer. It is not for floors, and it is not for granite.

We do not publish a per surface price for commercial MORE™ AntiEtch™, because no two commercial properties scope the same way. Square footage, access, current condition, and whether restoration is needed first all move the number.

What we do instead: an on site walk with your team, the stone identified in person, and a fixed written scope afterward. Restoration, when a surface needs it, is scoped and priced separately from the coating.

We coordinate low disruption windows with your team, and can work off peak or overnight when a space requires it.

Questions facilities teams actually ask.

How long does the coating last on commercial stone?

Jobs completed October 2025 and later carry a factory lifetime warranty against stains and etches, and earlier work carries the previous ten year warranty.

What does the warranty cover?

Can you do this while our building stays open?

What a wonderful experience having Pure Light clean and seal my limestone floors. They made 22 year old stone look like new! Carter and Josh were very professional and really took their time to get the floor and grout looking great. No mess and cleaned up everything as if they were never there. I NEVER write reviews but this company was incredible!

I have a black and white marble kitchen island that is impossible to keep free of etching so I just had Pure Light Cleaning Inc apply the More’s AntiEtch product to the marble. They were extremely professional throughout the process. After the application was applied and polished it looks amazing. I have my deep black color restored with a high gloss shine. I’m looking forward to having it look beautiful and tech free for years to come. I love that there is a 10 year warranty on no etching. Carter did a great job working with us.
